Homer's Night Out
The Simpsons Season 01, Episode 10
EPISODE HIGHLIGHTS
I'm pretty sure Bart would never call Krabappel "Hot Cakes" as the opening chalkboard suggests. Great opening, and use of time shift when Homer's assistant "makes and ass of himself" and then six months later is his supervisor and is getting married to valve maintenance chick.
Bart is actually a pretty discerning consumer of comic book novelties, making a good decision with the spy camera. His piggy bank is taped back together from smashing on Season 1, Episode 1.
The female-man? The female carrier Bart. Homer's exercise is an awesome lame attempt at stretching. Marge shaving her pits is brilliant. Bart takes pics of wildlife = roadkill, then his butt. Ah the Rusty Barnacle.
Cod platter $4.95. Squid platter, extra tentacles. Bart rearranges the sign to read Cold Pet Rat.
Buoys and Gulls. Similar to the bathrooms at Cowgirl Seahorse. "This is the most fun I've ever had in my life"
Bart's racy pic is accepted by the photography students quite well as extremely sensual, Helmut Newton. Diane Arbus, later works.
Bart is constantly upside down. Why don't I try that more often? I seem to recall doing this a lot when I was a kid.
Mrs. Waldorf points out, "was viral marketing even a thing yet?" referring to the wildfire spread of the racy picture. Ah future photographers of America.
Marge is totally at a Curves and "that purple fruit thing!" shows up on Homer's scratch-off ticket. "Where were you yesterday." Homer is whistling "Place in France where the naked ladies dance" and getting good attention from the slutty college girls.
Princess Kashmir? or Cashmere? This is definitely The Simpsons' first serious marriage issue. Oh Barney's apartment - Reminds me of 227 Hamilton St, New Brunswick, NJ.
Ha! Barney calls Marge to tell her to shut off the porch light. Amazing. "This apartment caters to upscale singles like me." Sleeping on the couch is no fun unless you are wasted. Burns asks his first favor of Homer. "This is a family nuclear power plant Simpson!" Clock punching ilk.
Homer's advice to Burns, "Wine em and dine em, bring em flowers, write em love poetry, sir!"
The kids both miss and are supporting Homer? Whaa? Homer is the biggest asshole ever here citing reasons as he's hungry, clothes are smelly and he's tired as reasons he misses Marge. FUUUU!
Exotic belly person sounds like it belongs on a business card. Florence of Arabia, Girlesque, April Flowers, Wet T-shirts, mature audiences only, Foxy Boxing? Try Mud City? Close Encounters of the Mud Kind. Look at the floor Bart! Ye Olde Off Ramp Inn? (The Inn makes an appearance in Season 1 Episode 13.)
The exotic belly person Janna Tifton dislikes rude people, turn ons include silk sheets, warm fireplaces. Reads like playboy, awesome.
I could love a Chinese girl an Eskimo or Finn. That's all I got to say. Bart is totally learning the right lesson. "He's a love machine sir." to quote Smithers.
"Only sick people want to see my folks kiss." Agreed Bart. Still not sure why Marge is OK with all this.

PLOT SUMMARY FROM WIKIPEDIA
Bart purchases a miniature spy camera from a mail-order catalog and uses it to take candid photos around the house. Later, Homer tells Marge he is going to a bachelor party for a co-worker, Eugene Fisk. While Homer is gone, Marge decides to take the children to the Rusty Barnacle, a seafood restaurant where (unknown to her) the bachelor party is well under way.
A sexy belly dancer named Princess Kashmir arrives at the party and invites Homer on stage to dance with her. On the way to the restaurant bathroom, Bart wanders into the bachelor party room and eagerly snaps a picture of Homer and Kashmir. Bart brings the picture to school and gives a copy of it to Milhouse, who promptly gets requests from other students for a copy of the picture. It is not long before everyone in Springfield has one. Marge sees a copy of the picture at her aerobics class and furiously rips it from the bulletin board. When Homer gets home that day, Marge immediately shoves the picture in his face and demands an explanation. At that point, Bart inadvertently reveals that it was his picture, and his parents get angry at him for taking the picture. After scolding Bart and sending to his room, she shoves a hastily half-packed suitcase and kicks Homer out of the house. Homer spends the night at Barney's apartment.
The next day Homer goes home to apologize to Marge. To his surprise, he learns that what upset her was not what he did, but that Bart saw it and will one day misconstrue it as a sign that it is okay to treat women like sex objects. She insists that he take Bart to meet Princess Kashmir so that Bart can see for himself that she is more than just a stripper. Left with no alternative, Homer and Bart scour the strip clubs of Springfield to find Princess Kashmir. Eventually, they track her down at the Sapphire Lounge.
Homer introduces himself and Bart to Kashmir, who is preoccupied with getting on stage for her performance. Without knowing it, Homer accidentally finds himself on stage at the burlesque show. Homer is about to be thrown offstage when the audience recognize him as the guy from the picture. The audience applauds and Homer gets caught up in the fanfare and starts dancing with the showgirls, until he sees Bart and realizes what he was supposed to do. Homer stops the show and successfully manages to make a plea to the audience to treat women with respect. Marge, who is in the audience, accepts Homer's apology and the two make up.
